Tendons have to help them out,
Or else we couldn’t move,
No doubt...
Connective tissue,
Works for free,
Never asks us for a fee...
Connects our muscle to our bone,
"Cause bones ain't movin',
On their own...

What is a Tendon?
Tendons are the tissues that connect muscle to bone. Similar to ligaments (which connect bones to bones), they are fibrous and strong.
The Achilles tendon, which connects the muscles of the calf to the heel bone, is the thickest and strongest tendon in the body. It’s about 6 inches (15 centimeters long).
Inflammation of tendons is a common ailement (especially for athletes in sports that require repetitive movements) and is called Tendinitis.
